BL Extension
Ok guys well I've got everything done on my lift EXCEPT for the stupid brake line extension. I just do not understand how it is supposed to be done, and th picture in the installation guide makes no sense at all.
Also what is an E-clip, and where is it located?
please

Sorry for not telling you guys, but yes I am talking about the back. So I am supposed to unbolt the rubber brake line hose from the bracket where it meets the metal?

In the rear I just went down to the auto parts store and droped 20 bucks on a new line. 95 YJ line is a direct bolt in for 3" more length over stock. Or if your running a bigger lift (5" +) a 92 Dodge dakota line is 6" longer. It's a better way to go in the long run.

Don't feel like messing with putting in a new brake line..
Breaking steel fittings loose, and then there's that hassle of bleeding...
Check out HSP's Brakeline Extender
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f61/howlers-items-5147/
Second item down
Bolts between the brakeline and the axle.
Several members here are running them. Includings yours trully.

A bracket extended is a half-assed way of doing things in the first place. A longer line is a better idea. Not to mention if your bracket and clip are corroded in the first place, you may have some problems getting the lines apart. I ended up breaking my line off last time and having to reflare it.
