Bilstein 5100s on stock setup?
Is this possible? I did a search but only found the 5100s for minimum, a 2-3 inch lift. Does anyone have the 5100s on a stock cherokee?
If they are only available on lifted vehicles, what is the best 2-3 inch lift I can get to accomodate 5100s? Thx

you need to take a high lift or a fork lift or something that can raise you vehicle off of the ground and take measurements of how long the shock would be when extended. and then when sitting level take a measurement of the shock and then subtract the distance (minus one inch like Brian did) and that will be your compressed length.
after you have those measurements start looking around the site

this is where every jeep is different. Read thru the posts when Brian got his new shocks:

at the bottom of the page it shows how to measure.

I wonder if it would defeat the purpose of the 5100s to get a 2 inch budget boost and put them on to ensure they can accomodate. Then you'd get the room for slightly bigger tires and a slight lift too, not to mention a guarantee the shocks should fit. Any thoughts?
