yea i know theres alot of topics on here abouit this questions but too many answers...looking for a right answer here

i have a 97 jeep cherokee sport with stock wheels and no lift.all my tires are bold and looking to upgrade my tires with my tax return.

not looking to do a lift at the moment.if I do i want to do it right.

whats the biggest size tire i can run with no lift? Ive read about 235/75/15's.....I really dont mind a little rubbing if I can go bigger.im planning on shaving the flares as soon as the weather gets nice out.

30x9.50 is the biggest without trimming

 

235 is not much smaller than a 30 they are usually slightly cheaper.

 

I have 235/75R15's on my 98 Limited and they are very close to rubbing. Put a 2" lift and some 30x9.50's on it.

 

I have 98 sport no lift running 30s very little rub only when turning sharp

 

I just got 235/75R15 put on yesterday and no rubbing whatsoever.

 

I had 31 10.5 on my 98 no lift and very lil rubbing
