Default bigger tires

I replaced the 17" tires/wheels on my 2012 wrangler and want to put them on my 2000 cherokee classic. What would be the easiest way to do that? Is there a simple lift that would let them fit properly?

How about a little info on your XJ. Like do you have any lift to it? What size tires do you want to put on? It would be a little easier to help you out with knowing this.
