i have a 98 xj looking to put a bigger alternator in was wondering what ones would bolt up.

 

If im not mistaken, some grand cherokee alt's should fit. I think its the V8 GC that works with minor alterations.

Some grinding had to be done along with some strategic movements of the alternator and brackets to get it all up, also there's the 136a http://www.bc4x4.com/tech/2004/jeepalt/ which may be a direct bolt on
