Ok so today on my way to work from school i was goin down the road at about 55, and hit a bump and the front of my jeep was comin apart lol. The whole front clip was shakin and everything!!! It has not done this since my RC 3" lift.
A couple of months ago i put 2 more inches on top of my Rusty's 4.5" lift. I added a Rusty's drop pitman arm 6.5" LCA's and i extended my stock uppers, and i also added rusty's HD trac bar frame mount to my adj. trac bar. Now i have not had an allignment and it did this twice today i had to drop down to about 20 mph to get it to stop.
I pulled over and my trac bar adjustment nut was tight but not real tight, so i snugged it up.
My question is will an allignment fix my issue or will i need more????
thanks

Only you can answer that question. You need an alignment for sure, after putting in more lift so get that done first and see what happens. Have you balanced your tires lately?
Some of the most common causes of death wobble:
loose trackbar
alignment
unbalanced tires
loose steering components
bad bushings
earthquakes

looks like you got ball joints and alignment to fix. Do those and then get back to us and see if it wobbles again.
Have someone watch the BJs as you move the tire. You cannot feel 1/32" of movement, but it will cause DW. Also, check the sector shaft coming out of the steering box for lateral movement, if it has any it has to be replaced!! Ask me how I know this!!

1-Ball Joints
2-Control arm bushings
3-trackbar loose or worn
4-Tie Rod ends worn and/or loose
5-draglink ends worn
6-combination of these or wheel balance/tire problems.
Ask your buddy to take it off completely and drive. He will probably still have it. Like blue said, it covers up the problem and may stop it but once all that stress wears down your stabilizer, it does an Arnold "i'm baaaack".
