Default Big pop when steering wheel turned all the way to left or right

I have just started noticing a loud pop when i turn all the way to the left or right. Havent noticed any noise when actually making a turn, but I assume as things get worse it might be coming. Any thoughts will be highly appreciated.

As far as checking the trackbar frame bolts is it common for those to loosen? I have noticed since I bought the jeep when I turn all the way to one side or another there is an "adjustment" feeling where the front end slides either one way or the other...I thought it was just the previous owners backyard lift job that might have been shifting a little (2" leaf spring lift).

As far as checking the greasing of the TRE's is there anything specifically I should look for? Leaking, etc? I havent dealt much with front end suspension...yet.

Thanks guys for your help.

Bolt hole can become wallowed, not exactly uncommon.. As for TRE's they need to be greased regularly (if possible). Look for deflating in the rubber sleeves. Don't want to over fill and make them into balloons but keeping them "topped off" is good. Once a month is good if it's just a DD but anything that sees trails should be checked more regularly.. I kinda like the idea of greasing more frequently with small amounts vs. infrequently with lots.. Have a buddy turn the steering wheel while you inspect the ends for play. Check track bar for any movement. Somebody on here took a breaker bar to theirs to test for play.. The breaker bar did its job and broke the track bar bolt on axle side.. So ya know, don't do that! Lolz.. I can't recall specifically, but it's either 67 or 76 lb/tq.. Dyslexic+sketchy info=wait for better answer!

Yep, very common.

Have an assistant rock the steering wheel back anf forth (10 o'clock-2 o'clock) while you at, listen to and touch all of the joints on your steering ysytem including the trackbar.

Report back with with your findings....NOW!

Tighten the track bar bracket to frame bolts.

Damn that was a bad sign from the assembly plant that way.

Even with new aftermarket track bars they need to be checked for tightness also on a regular basis as do other items every time your out wheeling.

They increased the recommended torque spec later on.
