BIG AC leak I can't quite pinpoint
When I fill the system I see a mist coming from under the hood, front passenger side. I am thinking condensor or compressor, but it looks like its coming from lower than the compressor. Any guesses, I'll try to video to post tomorrow.

You are just wasting coolant into the air. Take it to a pro and ask them to tell you where it is leaking from. Then let them fix it or fix it yourself. Depending on how old the AC system is, you may just want to do everything at once.
Luckily I've only done it once, but I agree I am just wasting coolant. If it makes sense to just replace everything, I think I'll just put in a new condenser, compressor, drier and hoses and not worry about diagnosing the leak.

you could look for traces of refrigerant oil that has built up near a leak, get you eyes and hands down in there and feel around....I'm sure that you will find it that way, afterall, most of those hotshot cans come with dye and the refrigerant oil in the systems leaks out with the refrigerant......so get busy

Just hope your evaporator isn't leaking too.
Changing everything is still a big job. It cost me around $500 for new compressor, hoses, condenser and dryer, then I had to buy the gauges and the vacuum pump. Not to mention you want to flush the evaporator core to get rid of old oil.
That's why if you can find a pro to diagnose it, maybe it is just a hose. So they change it, vacuum the system, and fill it. Could be cheaper than redoing everything.

Point taken and noted. That said, here in FL, ac is not optional and this is a new toy to me, I would rather replace it all, and k ow it's done right and going to be reliable, than fix one part and have it work for 6 months.

I know the feeling. Just know that doing everything can still leave you wanting more. You have to be very methodical, and precise when doing AC work. Know the exact amounts of refrigerant and oil your Jeep needs and then get it in the system.
If I had to do it again, I would still change the parts myself but I would take it to a professional to fill it with oil and refrigerant. They have better equipment to measure things accurately and fill it with no issues. Maybe talk to them before hand and ask them how much oil should be in the compressor. Remember, compressor, condenser, evaporator and dryer all hold different amounts of oil that add up to the correct amount of oil for your Jeep. Replace any of those parts and you have to know how much oil to replace. Plus flushing the evaporator core, pulling a vacuum should not be a big deal to them.
