I have H$ housings from the local store with IPF fatboys. low beams are twice as bright with high beams about half again as bright. No legal issues in any states or people flashing you either.

ECE housings are better in every single way over a DOT housing. There is 0 chance youll get pulled over, stopped, or fail an inspection bc of them unless youre running green headlight bulbs.

I think he meant bulb-wise.

I have some harbor freight 55w bulbs that work like a beast. They're only $15 a piece and I have them mounted at an angle that they shine just outside my high beams The end result is that my "ultra-high beams" have about a 30 degree angle spread out in front of me. I highly recommend these lights. They're cheap, very solid, and packaged individually. They don't come with any fuses or switches, but the lights themselves are well-worth the money. I plan on buying two more and mounting them just inside these ones as forward-facing lights. If you want more coverage from the lights themselves, you can mount them on the roof and up the bulbs to 110w a piece. Hopefully that'll be enough to aid your lighting issue.

My new heep came with the H4 conversion. Not sure what bulbs are in them but holy smokes what a difference!! I can actually see at night. Especially helps in the rain.

I also have a pair of KC Daylighters mounted on the bumper and for out in the bush, you can't get much better. Its almost like turning on the sun.
