Default Better headlights

Im looking for new headlights for both of my cherokees we live on back roads and have to many close calls with animals and just want something alot brighter. But since there sealed beam lights i seen the cheap housings on ebay but not sure if there any good. Thinkin about buyin those housings and a hid kit with low and high beam. What is everyone elses opinion on hid or what do you run

I have Hella e-codes with the HID kit, it's so much better than stock lighting. The Hellas can be found here: http://rallylights.com/Hella_200mm_H4_Headlamps.aspx

i've got those cheap h4 housings with some silverstars in there adn they seem to be a big improvement over the stock sealed beams, only cost me like 50 bucks for everything too.

I just did the the straight up H4 conversion (http://www.quadratec.com/products/97017_600.htm) and went to autozone and picked up their brightest 9003 bulbs. It is defiantly brighter than any sealed beam you could buy but I wouldn't call them super bright, my delta driving lights are much brighter. If you really want some light you might wanna go the HID route.

i've got the same sylvania's in my dakota and their great.. its a snowplow truck in the winter and goin out at 3 a.m. it needs good head lights.
In my XJ tho, i've got GE Nighthawks and they are great. i've got nothin but good things to say about em.. even my buddies when their followin me sometimes ask me if i had my high's on kuz the beam is so wide when my high's really arent on at all.
Again.. nothin but good things to say about em

the sylvania silverstars work great and aren't super expensive. About as bright as you can get without doing the conversion.
