CAUTION:
The kit is for the inspired and ambitious people who enjoy building motors! If you are not motor savy nor have the tools, or know someone with the tools and knowledge for FREE or CHEAP, then I HIGHLY suggest buying the built motor. When it is all said and done and you've paid for your machinest bill, parts, labor, time - It will equal out the price for the 4.9L Titan engine. TRUST me on this one.

This is not going for the gold. This is going for a world of ***-pain beyond measure you can't imagine.
Go to NAXJA and search for Titan. You'll see the first hand proven results of what happens when you buy an engine from Titan. You get it hard with sandpaper. Trust me.

all i got from that link (without reading the whole thing) is don't let sears do your oil change.
and get a 3 core rad to help keep things cool. maybe a dual electric fan setup also.
and with a built motor, you will want to run synthetic fluids and premium fuel.

True. I also said "search" for Titan. There are about 3 others that have had similar results. Only 2 that were lucky and both of those lucky ones bought their engine in 2008. Anything after 2008 yields bad results it seems. I don't know what happened between then and 2009.
