here is my real life experience:
i ran this for about 6 months:
265/70r15(30.6x10.4r15)
with a 1.5" Tera Flex Budget boost.
only rubbed at full lock, so i upgraded rims, since the back spacing was 4" i rubbed the fenders at full stuff since they stuck out farther. i went up to 2" (added the factory rubber insulator back under the coil spacer) and the front was fine. I never rubbed in the back.

I am glad that i could be of some help. Please post pictures and do a build thread as your jeep comes along!
also one word of advice. no block, no AAL's and always new shocks with every lift and if you go 3" get new leaf packs, you will thank yourself in the long run.

I would save up, and whatever company you go with get full leaf packs, and 3" coil springs.
Some kits come with shocks some dont. just look around and come up with options. here are some common lifts:
Old Man Emu(OME)(~$800): best ride that you will find good off road and VERY good on road. they are made my ARB but cost a pretty penny for their quality
Rough Country(~$300 but has AAL only new rear springs recommended so add $200): rough ride, however it is cheap and complete.
Rusty's Off-road (~$450): Seems to be hit and miss. Although i run their stuff with zero issues. they have high shipping costs tho.... But a good company none the less
Rubicon Express(~$600): good quality, they really know what they are doing with great quality, but again they are pretty penny for their quality. The red jeep has the RE 3.5 super ride lift.
There are many other lifts out there, these are just the most popular it seems. Do research and see what you like and can afford. But if it takes a little bit of extra savings that okay.
here is a list of what you need for a good 3" lift:
Leaf Springs
coil springs
shocks
steering stabilizer(always a good idea to replace these about every 75,000-100,000 miles)
track bar(either relocate your stock one or get a new adjustable or fixed one)
longer brake lines(some may argue this one)
also the YJ brake line (like a 95 yj) will be 3 inches longer so you can get the factory YJ brake lines for alot cheaper than the Stainless steel brake lines.

I don't want to sound like a jerk here, but isn't this what the lift and tire thread is for?

Or have you tried a search? I am willing to bet you could find 30 threads like this.
However now that I am over it. Try this link. It sounds like you are willing to make your own lift and this is a helpful page. You might like it, I found it on here about a year ago and kept it handy

I would say your best bet is to cut the fenders. I cut the fenders in my 94 and it looked and worked great. If you would like a picture, let me know.
