What is the best throw out bearing for a 1995 xj 4.0 the last 2 I've have been Luk but they both exploded is there a better brand. I'm tired of having to replace them. I'm not hard on my clutch I've never encounter this problem before. Any help is appreciated, thanks

The National and Timken brands are good, I have had the LUK one in my truck for a few moths and it has been fine so far, but many people have issues with them.

I put a Sachs clutch in my 95 a little less than a year ago (about 6k miles on it) due to the fact it came with the all metal TOB and was well reviewed. So far, so good, the clutch is nice and smooth and there's no noise.
Edit - Price on the Sachs from Amazon was comparable to Luk and other sets. I think I paid around $130.
My old clutch (it looked like a Luk) was good and had plenty of meat on it, but the TOB was bad and noisy. I figured the issue with the old TOB was that the P.O. had used the wrong spacer plate between the engine and transmission (it was a plate from an auto without the lower half) and the exposed flywheel and open housing had let water/dirt/oil into the bell-housing. I wouldn't have considered the TOB being low quality and the P.O. had installed the clutch less than 2 years before I bought the Jeep. Obviously I replaced the spacer plate with the correct plate when I did the clutch.
The only odd thing about it was it was super "light" when I first installed it. In other words, the pedal effort was greatly reduced from the old clutch. I'm not sure if I'm just used to it now or if it stiffened up, but it was so light I actually thought I hadn't put the slave back on correctly (I had) and ended up removing and re-installing it.
