I already have 2" spacers and Rusty's 4" springs in front with explorer pro comp shocks and I hate the harsh ride, I am thinking of replacing both shocks and springs and am curious what to use that will ride good and still flex nice. I have drop brackets and longer lower control arms and sway disco's, so really all I am after here is springs and shocks. I looked at OME and cant find anything that big, so any help? Also where is the best place to get new bushings for everything in the front? Keep in mind aftermarket lower arms and track bar. Thanks!

i have Rubicon Express and their stuff rides nice and is flexy. i dont think they make a 4" spring but they make a 4.5"....you could use em would just need to get a 1.5" spacer instead of using ur 2"...or just use your 2" spacers to get your front end a lil higher.
I don't believe you that you searched and couldn't find anything. it seems like 1/2 he threads are about which lift is better and why. And no doubt, in every one of those threads people talk about harsh rides and best components. it just takes a little bit more effort, I guess.
Bottom line is that everyone has a different opinion. Yeah, we can talk about lights but everyone sees them and can chat about their features. It is harder to do the same for shocks and springs...maybe because you have to have experience with multiple combos to give a good opinion, and that is a minority of the population here. Maybe it is harder to describe or people don't want to simply push their opinion.
But, if that is what you want, I have a RE lift with monotubes. It is tauted as the better of the rides, but I don't know...My only experience. that being said, it is short arm and long arm feels completely different. My buddy has a 6.5" LA kit from IRO. he loves it and it does ride very nicely. He uses Blistein 5150s and cannot be happier. Their 6.5" front end springs sell for $150. Any major manufacturer/distributor can get you the components you need.

Harsh Ride??? Springs are NOT the problem. The main cause is the angle of your control arms, and maybe your shocks. Bets fix would be long arms or CAD.

Already have a control arm drop and still rides rough, I know whenever you lift something it will not ride as good, but the stock 88 cherokee I had before this one rode super nice and I would be happy with half as nice a ride!

How is the shackle angle, somehow it gets overlooked. The rear springs have more arch but are the same length as stock so you end up with a terrible shackle angle. A good angle is around 45 degrees. hdoffroad makes a shackle drop bracket or you could use longer leaf springs like out of a dodge van.
