best riding 3.5" lift
I am not looking to go rock crawling or sever trail rinding. Just something me and the kids can play on dirt roads and pastures. I am going to put 31 or 32 in mud tires on it. It is a 90 xj 4 dr.
Looking for the smoothest riding out of all the kits.

i think RE might be what you're looking for. but then again, what's smooth for me, is probably not smooth for you. i have RC 4.5" and i love it. having said that, i've never drove or rode on any other lift. my suspension has a very solid feel with just the right amount of body roll while cornering. i have no sway bar in the rear. but people say that it feels kinda stiff. so, it's kinda like this. spending a ton of money doesn't mean that you're gonna get the smoothest ride. but whatever you do get, i bet you'll learn to drive it and after a while you'll love it.

I agree I have 3.5 inches and I love mine. it does ride some what stiff for other people but then again I LOVE IT. But maby a BB would be good because you can still use the oem springs. That or OME make (from what I hear) a really good lift and its smooth but you will pay alot for it.
