If I can't have gas I will use the grill lol
reproducible pictures lol you're funny.. so I put my phone in a couple of places and marked the edges of jeep where my phone sits with the grease pencil.. the first pic seems to be the worst pic but the most stable location for my phone. the pic with the pencil sitting directly on the rotor and the dot on top is the point at where it touches in that position. I can't draw a straight line to save my self .. but the dot matters

The first picture works good. It's time to remove the one bolt from the old distributor and the distributor. While you lift it up I want you to be aware of how the rotor twists for the first part as you lift it out of the hole. That is the mesh of the drive gear at the bottom. You will have to "lead" the new distributor (rotor) the same amount so it will turn back to the exact same spot. Also you will notice the flat bit on the very bottom of the new distributor. That will insert into a groove below the distributor that drives the oil pump. When the rotor is aligned and the oil pump drive is aligned, it will sit down flush so you can put the bolt back in. There is no "timing" on these motors, the computer does it all. Twisting the distributor won't particularly help free it (not that it should be stuck), rocking it slightly might, but be slow and deliberate and watch the rotor's movement.
Good luck!

I would just use a combo wrench, but if you have a wobbly and a socket, sure. Yes, marking the distributor to show the distance the rotor turns might help, but I have not had much luck with that. It needs to come out quite "clinically" for that to work. It's usually a little messier.
