Sorry, but this is an incorrect statement. Automatic lockers and Limited slip differentials are two very different things.Originally Posted by Paco182
Automatic locker. Same thing as LSD.

LSDs and Auto-lockers still aren't the same thing, though.

If it is being set up for mud and hunting, I would go with a 4.5-5.5 inch lift and run 33-35 inch tires and use a Power Trax No-Spin in the rear and a Zip locker or a Tru- Trac in the front. Bumpers front and rear with the front mounting a 8000 lb minimum rated winch with the rear having shackle mounts.

I try not to talk about lockers. you and djb know too much. All i know is I had a tru trac in the rear and swapped back to stock. Not a fan of lockers.Originally Posted by Gee oh Dee

You do keep better ground clearance without a drop. I used a Rusty's 1 in drop T case crossmember. You get the best of both worlds because the crossmember is 1" skinnier. Same ground clearance and a t case drop. The member is also a LOT beefier!Originally Posted by Gee oh Dee
Do you keep better center clearance without a Tcase drop?

I like lockers, but I'm only a fan of selectable ones, like my ARB. Ox is a good name too, if I'm not mistaken, I just haven't played around with one. I'm actually trying to pick up am ARB front locker if my fiance gives me the green light.
I guess we're putting money aside for a house and not just off road trucks?
