Exactly as the title says,
I'm looking for the best bed liner / undercoat product made for home application.
Later this summer I'll be looking to re-coat the wheel wells, as well as rockers to keep my rust free 98....RUST FREE....
I've tried several in the past on serperate vehicles, though some were not what I was looking for...
looking for something flexible, rugged, and most of all...impervious to solvents such as lacquer thinner, and brake parts cleaner, as I want it to stand the test of time.
Thanks everyone for your input.

My buddy used a product called POR 15 on the rockers. It's supposed to stop rust in it's tracks. All you do is knock off the loose rust and sand it so it's fairly smooth and doesn't flake. After that, you brush the stuff on and let it do it's job. Here's a picture of the product

herculiner? I wanna go doorless when it gets warm enough out, and have a bunch of holes in my floor to patch, so i was gonna rip up my carpet and herculine it all after the patches are done. i know herculiner comes in grey, i want my interior to match still. unless this POR-15 stuff is cheaper, better, and comes in grey, then i might go with that haha.

POR15 comes in colors, and the stuff works miracles. I had an 85 yota, live on the east coast, and yotas rust bad, put some of this stuff on and it worked wonders. POR15 is expensive to by, but it is cheap as opposed to having your unibody and floors rust out.
I have used a product called 3M Body Schutz and I hav had great luck with it. If this is the way you go I recomend buying the applicator gun it is inexpensive and attaches directly to the bottle. The body schutz is a fantastic underbody coating but not really what I like for a bed liner but it is very durable and very flexible.

I've heard nothing but good things about POR 15 also but haven't used it yet. If you're just looking for a good rattle can undercoat, I like the 3M Rubberseal Rubberised Undercoat.

Before this POR-15 love fest continues, read this story. Its from a member on here and his build, clearly has to do with his experience with the product and company. It starts on the page I linked and continues onto the next. His story has made me not want to even touch the stuff.

Well, there's always gonna be one bad experience with something, no matter what it is. It worked great for my buddy and I'm gonna try it out on my rockers before they get rotted. Worse comes to worse, I'll sand it off and start over. That does suck though, that after all his prep work, it just came off.
