Default Best 2'' suspension lift on a tight budget?

I see many listed everywhere from anywhere between $69 and $250. Of course I am wanting to go as cheap as I can since this lift will really only be for looks. I am only wanting to run 30X9.50X15's. Opinions?

Keep in mind, that most XJ leafs have sagged a bit; mine had lost about 3/4" due to loading/overloading. So a 2" lift will actually be around 1.25" over stock.
You will most likely need something else for the rear to get a true 2" lift.

I wouldn't have brought this up without a suggestion.
Monroe Sensatrac load adjusting shocks.
They have a coil spring wrapped around them.
I have them on my XJ, and they gave me back the amount of lift the leafs had sagged. Ride is a little springy, but calms down a bit after break in and when you carry loads.

For the rear, I definitely recommend a new leaf pack or bastard pack. Otherwise, lift shackles cause more issues with used/sagging leafs and axle wrap. At the very least add an addition main leaf with eyes cut off to your pack and maybe run a shackle. V8 ZJ upcountry coils are fairily easy to come by an net approx 1.5-2" lift for the front.

Just found a new Rough Country 2'' with spacers, shackles and shocksfor $190. I think I may pick that up since the price on their website is around $250 without shipping added.

My leafs look like they have no sag, so I will try it out. I can always add another leaf.. Thanks for the replies.

Well I would imagine that "sagging" would mean that the body is not level. Like the rear is not as high as the front. My 96 sits on level ground with the rear above the front a little, so I figured the rear leafs are not sagging. Could be wrong once a lift with shackles are installed....
