$600 sounds pretty legit....worst case scenario it is bent beyond repair and you have of good drive train and body parts to put into another cheap rig, but it doesnt look bad at all to me

$500 is basic transportation on a 2wd model. However it does say its a clean title, so just make sure it is indeed clean.

You can pm the vin and I will run it through the system that all the Insurance companies use and let you know what comes up.

I went today to check it out. The guy had already remove the bumper, fender, grill and header. The only spots I see any problem with are both control arms as he mentioned and the mount were the bumper goes is bent, but it looks like it can be straightened. I don't know we shall see. As far as the air bags I can put an older XJ steering wheel on there and who cares about the dash. My 89 doesnt have any why would this one need any?

i was refering to the passenger side, which looks to be where it should be, but maybe over an inch or two. it looks to me like the drivers side just folded backward.

Question to the OP. If he has insurance, and it's not totaled, why didn't the insurance company fix it? Seems to me that it was deemed totaled but the owner cut a deal to buy it back and not have it reported totaled. Something doesn't smell right.

I think what he gave you is a bad vin. It decodes correct, but has no title history. It should atleast show registration. Unless FL does not report these types of things to high powers.
