Default 1989 cherokee..got some problems

so i just picked up a 1989 jeep cherokee for 450 dollars..it had sat for 2 years. I brought it home and threw a new fuel filter changed the oil and filter as well as spark plugs. I fired it up and it ran like poopy...things i know are the head was disgustingly dirty and covered in all sorts of build up and 10 of the lifters are shot so i am replacing those and got the head cleaned up. I have removed the head and started to pull the lifters, but some of the oil ports(at least thats what i think they are ar clogged with the same crap..any ideas on whats going to happen if i don't get the oil ports completely clean..cause its hard to get in there. Also what else should i look into? The jeep seemed to be lacking ALL of its power when i was attempting to drive it back into my garage, by that i mean i was pushing the gas and it didn't want to move seems like i was getting enough fuel..i have the injectors pulled and they are pretty dirty. Can i go the ford 19 injectors out of a 5.0 with out a FPR?? any insight would be appreciated and i will keep this updated as i figure things out.
