My bendix 9 brakes system in my '90 Cherokee isn't working right. My buddy told me that I could replace it with the system off a 2001 grand cherokee. This a good idea? If not then how can I fix it cheap cause I'm really broke.

The factory actually has a deal where they will replace them all for free (or since they probably dont have the parts any more) upgrade the system. It is a factory issued problem that they will take care of: TSB
