Thanks Joe, Ill give the wiper a shot in the morning.

#6) I dont have power mirrors, they are the manual ones that function with cables.

#7) the a/c vents inside the Jeep all seem "loose" on the hinges they flop around and dont seem to just stay where i would want to set them.

Today I was driving and I noticed that its a resists more when i turn it to the right and it groans when I turn either way, any thoughts?

The mirrors will not move? I will guess your mirror cables could be rusted and no longer able to move. You can either take the mirrors off and try PB Blaster the cables till they work again or visit your local junk yard/pick and pull or buy new.

The vents can be carefull removed (I'm not sure how) and use a rubber/plastic washer from the hardware store to make them less floppy.
I've seen people use scotch tape and/or cut up soda can for shims.

I would only retape the area of body trim that's loose, no need to remove the whole section.

My jeep moans also when I turn. I've replaced the steering fluid (and steering box) and it still moans. I'm assume the pump is just old and the noise is fluid bypassing the seals. For now mine steers well so I'm in no hurry to replace the pump.

There are alot of moving parts in the steering assembly, I'm not sure why your's steers less easy in one direction than the other. I do know lots of brake and alignment repair places will do a free inspection. Might be worth your time to try that route, just for the info.

Thanks again Joe,
I also have heard of people using bike brakeline cables for stuff like the mirrors, Ill do some research on the vents. Thanks a ton =)

The steering was worse today, ill check the fluid, then ill go get it inspected, its worse when im going slower but i think thats because there is more friction and its more noticable

Good luck Ian, check your tire pressure too while you're at it.

Dang, another good plan gone to hell. You may have destroyed the glue that held it up.... bummer. No easy fix I'm afraid.

Thumbtacks? If done wrong would look trashy but done right would look like upholstery studs.

Thumbtacks no but upholstery studs sometimes have a cork screw pointy end, might be worth a try, but I doubt it will last when the wind gets at it.

My power steering has a moderate/slow leak so for now i can deal with adding fluid once in awhile, are there common problems that i should check first, i think it could be a hose leak, i would rather replace a hose than the whole pump.

The Furniture nails worked awesome, looks like those leather chairs with the buttoning. Im very happy how that turned out.

Clean the suspect leak areas (I like brake cleaner) and see if you can confirm where it's leaking. Much easier and cheaper than guessing.

We want pics of the headliner!!!
