XJJeepThing. That looks awsome! Me likes. There was a guy around my town in a Dodge Ram 3500 with something like a 14" lift and 40" Boggers. Totally covered in Rhino. Looked baaaaaaddddd.....

Thanks , no reason it can't look good and still wheel. Yep section and rolled it under. Take your time and it will look nice.

Did you cover it with anything after you rolled it under? Like some epoxy or something? Or did you tack it down?

I rolled it under and covered it with clear RTV silicone and then after a few days I spayed the inner fenders and the fold with Rubberized undercoating.

Did that have to do with why you went up the back quarter in the first place?

I like the look of the black body armor quaters, but since i can't afford them right now, I made it look like a had them. LOL. I also didnt want to use any kind of body molding trim on the rear, the paint does crack a bit when you cut and fold, hopefully no rust this way.

I think they are just glued on. Mine didn't come with any so I don't know.

I have't thought about doing the exterior, but I did plan on doing the interior. My reason because I hate the carpet. Especially on as many beach runs as I go. PITA vacuuming (sp?)

Use a heat gun ad heat the molding it will pull off. Then use acetone to help remove the sticky crap that is left

xjjeepthing that is one nice rig. I like it and the bedliner looks awesome too. Only thing it needs is a relocation to my yard.

So, i took my rear bumper caps off to do the whole bedline thing and it appears that the tabs that hold them too the body are riveted to the body. Is this true? how did you deal with them. I was thinking they would need to be drilled out and then filled with bondo before I bedline. Is this correct??

I just drilled the rivets out and left the holes, not that noticeable with black bedliner. I have the bottom of the rear quarter done, gonna do the rest soon.

Yep, I just drilled the rivets of out of mine and left it. Really can't notice. I plan to eventually do some sort of body armor there or cut and fold it.
