Default Battery shorted on hood

I put on a beefier positive battery terminal to have a better connection for my 2 gauge amp wire and went for a drive, first bump and the motor cuts out.

Popped the hood and the new terminal shorted on the hood, hazards work but zero power when I turn the key.

Obviously I need a battery tie-down,(it didnt come with the jeep)but all fuses are good so I think the battery is friend.

I couldnt work on it at the time and I will check voltage in the morning and put in my spare battery.

What do you think?1990 Xj limited

Could have done a number of things from popping fuses, burning up wires, and possibly taking out the pcm.

Start over near the big relay behind the battery. Those grren and orange wires are fusible links. If you're lucky all that happened was one of them burned.

How do I check to make sure the relays and fuseable links are still good?

Yup,and once I identify the burnt out links how do I go about finding the proper replacements?

When my computer crashed a few years ago, I lost all my fusible link info that I got from a buddy at Chrysler. Crud.

30 amp rings a bell for some reason.

Gonna go from the starter solenoid down a ways into the harness and probe?

You should be able to tell by color. Here's a chart I snagged from Autozone.
