battery question.
I'm currently in the process of restoring a 91 XJ Sport to working condition.
Now I need a battery, so I can relocate my jeep for chasis work.
The battery I removed is utterly destroyed, and I don't have the owner manual. I'm a fan of replacing with the standard/factory model, and don't know what I should buy because the old battery is unrecognizable.
Most of the part shops around here employ teenagers, and a dozen phone calls and internet searches later, and I still have no idea what to buy.
What specifications should I look for? I don't want to end up buying the wrong battery.
Thanks!
edit: I live in the northeast, so CCA batteries are preferred.

man...don't have the issue with the teens workin at the shops here, they generally still know what they are talking about. I alway go in and ask what they have available for my year/make/model and they show me. Usually there is a wide range of options as far as CCA. the battery i bought is a super start with 430 cca at 0* and 520 at 32*...it starts my jeep just fine in the winter months here in ABQ. the day i bought my jeep it was a good 30 or so degrees and it cranked it right up after the jeep hadn't been started in two years.
SUPER START
Part #: 58-48
If you have an oriely's out in your area you can go in there and give them the name and part number and they should have it, the parts store may also be a schucks, cragen or checker..lol They are all owned by oriely's now.

I myself, look for longest Battery life w/highest cold cranking amps. With out breaking the bank. I live in North Eastern Wisconsin, And hate it when my car don't start in sub zero weather. I'm also restoring a '91. Here's a site with (OEM) Jeep parts catalogs for various years. You'll find '91 is listed. They can be down loaded in PDF format. I find them very useful.( http://www.xjjeeps.com/tech_reference.asp?section=2&ID=0 ) And here's a pic of my '91 Limited (67k on it right now) Attachment 19684
