Do you have a lot of electronic accessories in your XJ? If not I would go RedTop for sure.

the book by the batteries at wal mart will tell you what size to get or just go to a parts desk and ask at an autoparts store

Tell you what i did, i put a gel liesure battery in mine... £150 a pop, but due to them being for boats, they last 6 times longer.. and can sit a lot longer without charge.

Go to the advanced auto parts website and click on batteries. they will guide you through which batteries will fit your Jeep.
As someone who's been stranded in the wintertime due to a bad battery, my advice is to not go cheap.
Got my new 94R series at Advanced Auto for $116 during their new branch grand opening. That's installed with charging system test as well. 730CCA and all that jazz.
Get 'er done!
