Default bastard pack questions

I bought my 99 cherokee a couple months ago and have a question. When I bought it the previous owner had just put new stock leaf springs on it Due to a broken shackle. and I took the old springs also.I want to do a cheap lift,If I use the main leaf from the old springs how much lift do you think I can expect.I am thinking 3" does this sound right.I was thinking of 3" coils in front and a 1" shackle to go with the spring pack.An ideas or comments. Thanks millman

According to this guy who did the Home Brew Budget Boost, it'll net you about 2.25" of lift.

I will be using the main leaf from a stock cherokee pack, plus a 1" or 2" shackle this should give me the 3" that I want.
