I've been following the recent threads about 2" bastard lift setups, and was planning on starting to collect the necessary J/Y parts, but I just noticed that my stock XJ rear springs are flat.
( I guess that explains why it handles like ****....)
Since I'm on the BUDGET XJ MOD Plan, does anybody out there know of any "readily-junkyard-available" leaf springs from any application that I could just bolt in to my XJ that would give me close to 2" of lift without dealing with adding packs, spacers, or AAL's to my flat springs?
It just seems like wasted effort to try to resurrect flat springs...
And it doesn't seem economical to have to buy a set of used stock springs AND a pair of S-10 springs also...
Any ideas?

Also, any specialized tools required?
I have jackstands, but will need to borrow/rent floorjack and spring compressors.
Anything else out of the ordinary I will need?

You only need to retain your master leaf on the OEM springs (the one with the eyes) all the other leaves are trashed anyway. HTH

i have a write up i can find. use stock 92-95 s10 blazer leafs. look at the rear on mine its what i used
