Default Bar pin eliminator

Seeing how I soon will be installing a new lift kit on my jeep I really have been looking for various things that will give me trouble. Clearly the rear upper shock bolts are the #1 issue people have with installing a new lift kit with shocks.

I have accepted the fact that they are going to break and just moved on, now my question deals with upgrading that. I have seen both Full Tractions bar pin eliminator kit, and the JKS bar pin eliminators. I was wondering if any member use either of these and how much of an upgrade they are. I truely would not to ever want to deal with these bolts again.

I do know about punching them out and using a different set up, but ripping up my cargo area to do this is more then I really want right now. Id also like to know if anybody knows of any other upgrades that would work.

Thanks again guys!

Some guys swear by bar pim eliminators but, I am currently running a 6" lift and 4wheel like a feand and I still have my shocks in the stock mounts.

I am going to use my rear sway bar mounts as bpe's. I am trying to do mine as cheap as possible.

Most of the time, people use BPE's so that you have more of a choice of shocks, not limited to the the options available.

If your doing that anytime soon, then I'd love to hear how it went for you. I am hoping to have the lift kit by the beginning of March, but to reduce the time needed to put the lift on I am hoping to get the rear shock bolts taken care of ahead of time so that I won't need to mess with them during the actual lift.

Edit: I plan on going with the RE Twin Tubes, found a site that offers them with the kit I want for a reduced price and free shipping!
