Blower fan is stubborn.

Turn on blower at controls, and it sometimes works just right, each setting, power and blend, seem to work normally.

Then, the fan will go on and off a few times, at some point, while driving.

If the fan goes off for a while, a couple of good under-the-glovebox blows to the general area of the blower, the resistor, and the wiring between, will get it going again.

If I reach underneath and pull on the connector right at the resistor, it does NOT seem to have the same reliable effect in restoring the functional of the blower as beating on the thing.

Anyway, hoping someone might have an idea where to look before I start fooling with it more.

p.s. Does anyone know if CCKEN is OK?

 

Sounds like blower motor going south. Pull connector confirm power when on. If there power replace motor.

(Where is/is there) a good ground point inside cab to check for power on that?

 

Connector is under hood follow wire coming out of motor ground to bolt under hood.
