Ball joints?
Ok I didnt notice this untill my wife spoke up about it today she asked , Why does this this clunk so bad down on the floor at my feet, I was kind of puzzled. I have never been shotgun in my jeep so I had her drive it and wow, I replaced the wheel bearing and hub assem. lower control arm bushings which had almost no rubber in them lol and brake rotors brakes and u-joints in the axle shaft about a week ago. Ok so I got it home and with out even jacking the jeep up.. if I bear hug my 35 inch tire and rock it up and down I can feel play with it sitting on the ground. wtf! that is not good.. looks like my upper ball joints may need replaced because of a small gap between the boots that are dry and pretty much blown appart I know they need replaced just havnt had the time.. my ? is will this cause that clunk and movement were feeling inside? any helps better than none at this point

x2, do them both at the same time its not worth the trouble to pull it apart 2 times.
go to harbor freight and get the ball joint press kit i think thats what its called but it helps make it alot easier, its like 20 bucks.
