ball joint removal??

It is a straightforward job. The biggest hurdle is usually getting the hub bearing out of the axle. They always rust in place. Once that's done, you undo the castle nuts, whack the knuckle rounds with a big hammer so the tapered joints separate, and starting pressing out the old joints and the new ones in with a ball joint press.
