How hard is it to replace all 4 ball joints on a 99 Dana 30 HP?
I have a place and tools just never done it b4

 

It is a straightforward job. The biggest hurdle is usually getting the hub bearing out of the axle. They always rust in place. Once that's done, you undo the castle nuts, whack the knuckle rounds with a big hammer so the tapered joints separate, and starting pressing out the old joints and the new ones in with a ball joint press.

 

^^^ What he said. First time it took me 4 hours to do both sides from start to finish. 3rd time I did it I had them done closer to 2 hours.
