So i broke down and rented a ball joint press today and went to press it out and the joint and bearings and all the internal parts came out of the top and the houseing of the ball joint. So now the housing is stuck and i have no clue how to get it out i still have the press, any ideas.....

 

I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that you did something a bit wrong when you tried to press out the ball joint.

Punches to drive out the remaining part perhaps? Be careful and don't butcher the inner C.

 

heat wrench.... that's slang for a torch set... heat that thing up (dont hit the trigger = CUT / MELT steel, so dont do that)... then use a punch and be sure to not screw up inside the pocket... just like what Frank said

 

The "parts" are supposed to go out the bottom.

 

Lower ball joint gets pushed down to remove, upper gets pushed up to remove.
