fair enough, but i think i would just have a hard time convincing a customer to use toy bb's on his new $500 tire...

So, you that have done this.. Is it worth it? I'm thinking about purchasing the HF manual tire changer, but I would still have to balance the tires.

I change all of my own tires myself. Dyna beads work great. I've used them in my D2500, my wife's Durango, My daughter's Grand Cherokee and several motorcycles.

The only vehicle I have that they did not work on is my 2003 Stratus R/T. The tires seem to be too low profile to get enough sling to balance no matter how many or how few beads I tried.

They do work great on taller tires.

They will work fine. I have them in my 38.5 SX's and work perfect.

throw in a couple oz of anti-freeze coolant in there as well. apparently it helps keep the bbs cool so they don't melt into the tire.

it's cool to hear the swoosh of the bb's when you come to a stop.

was gonna use golf ***** in my 36's, but seemed to drive fine without anything.

go for it, i don't think you can actually use too many, they will just divide themselves evenly no matter how many are in there. better too many than not enough.
If there's liquid inside the tire it will throw it OFF balance. But that's not with BB's, but wouldn't see a difference.
