Hmm I didn't think of the intake manifold sensors. I *DID* say I saw it on YouTube, and that site's not exactly known for 100% professionally vetted material...

Well if it takes out O2 sensors I don't think it makes much sense to put it in the gas, either.

Thanks ya'll.

I went ahead & put it in the gas & oil.

Not too worried about the O2 sensors since they are being replaced anyhow. But since its looking like it will just be more of a pain than anything I'll just skip it.

I did get some Deep Creep as well, thinking of following the instructions on it and having a go.

Thanks again!

Why not dump it in the CCV line?

Y'all do know there is a intake version of seafoam that has a straw attached right? I wouldn't use the brake booster cuz it's too big of a vaccum line and will concentrate all of it on the nearest cylinder to the port, not to mention the throttle body and AIC will be skipped completely. Just buy the intake version and spray in directly into the throttle flap. I just did it and have done it several times to my Silverado and Trans Am and never had any issues with any sensors or anything

Are you talking about the deep creep or just the seafoam spray XJDryva?

@89Laredo - I wasn't sure which CCV to put it in. (OK, I wasn't sure 100% sure where the CCV valve was.)

jesus this is crazy, every week every month every years theres these and the come in big spurts and slow down but still.

theres youtube videos, the seafoamsales.com website has guides and videos, theres thousnads of forums with the same threads with the same info over and over, hell theres like 3 in the first 3 pages on this forum!

ive said here and other forums a dozens of times, Ive used it on every car ive owned and friends cars thru a vacuum into the intake and always had excellent good results

but just for fun, heres my pic, its best to get at the center of the intake to evenly get to the cylinders, well heres my method on the 4.0

suck up 1/2-3/4 of a can slowly then drown it and immediately shut off or stall out.
