Default bad pcm?

if i get an incorrect reading from pcm to a connector does that mean i have a bad pcm? can it be reset? i get a .2v reading from the pcm to the 02 sensor where i should get between 4.5 and 5v and i get a 5.2v from pcm to the crankshaft position sensor where it should read approx. 8v.

Could be or those sensors in questions could be bad! What caused you to test those values in the first place?

well i have been posting on the thread "ohms"...the reason i tested them is because im tryin to find whats going on lol. anyhow if i dont get the proper voltages from the pcm how can i expect to get a correct reading at the sensor itself? i took some pictures n stuff but cant get them on this website, not sure how to scale down the size to fit this application. also i got a 34 reading from my cel. which suggested open or shorted condition detected in the cruise control vaccum or vent solenoid circuits...

Well I would imagine there should specific measurments for each sensor as well as the PCM. I would find those numbers and test away. Have you replaced the O2 sensors or crank sensor yet? If your Xj has over 100k it wouldnt hurt to replace the O2 sensors any way!! Good Luck!!
