Not entirely sure this is the problem, but its my only guess. Let me know what you guys think please. 94 JEEP CHEROKEE SPORT I6 4.0 HO NP231J TRANSFER CASE AW4

dude, you must have like a super duper high powered motor. No stock motor can handle that much oil pressure...


replace the sensor

Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't want to replace the sender when it could be the sensor. $60 price different means a lot. When I got the jeep I snapped the sender in half taking off the oil filter. Someone overtightened it in the past and once it broke loose my fist took out the sender. Ya live and ya learn....

Replace your oil pressure sending unit! Make sure it isnt leaking where you screw it in. If it is, put a small amount of pipe tape in the end of the sending unit.

its like 25 bucks at autozone if you want... i also have a hardlined pressure gauge though too
