i have a 2000 xj with the 4.0 in it and i have to cycle the key a few times for it to start. it will start the first time but i just dont like cranking on it that long because its hard on the starter. my dad and i checked the fuel pressure tonight and when you turn the key on it jumps right to 50psi and then drops pretty quick to 45psi and then keeps loosing somewhat quickly after that. when i start the jeep it has 50psi running and doesnt drop at all. im fairly certain i dont have any leaks any where. the only thing we could think of is the fuel pressure regulator or a check valve or something. have any of you had this problem? thanks
