So lately ive been noticing a loss in power. I dont beat on my rig but it used to be when i ask for power it delivers. If i push the accelerator to any point, it goes until i stop pushing. When i floor it and overdrive hits, its like taking off in a rocket ship. Now its more like i push it and it accelerates to a certain point then i can push the pedal up and down (right before the point of hitting overdrive) and it doesnt react and speed up quicly. There is no immediate reaction i used to have. It accelerates, but it takes FOREVER. Also. Overdrive isnt quick and doesnt give me the same whiplash i normally got. i miss it.
0-60 time used to 9.2 seconds
now its 11.8 or so, give or take human error.
It used to be...in the rain i had to feather it on a flat surface to not spin the tires. Now i have no worries...which worries me. HELP!!!!

Well first thing is that you don't understand what OD is. When you step on the pedal it should be shifting OUT of overdrive into 2nd or 3rd. Have you recently changed to bigger tires? Is your Cat clogged or the fuel filter or the injectors or, or, or?

dude overdrive is something in an automatic transmission. it is basically the highest gear set for the auto. its there for cruising and saving gas. it sounds like many things. first check the air filter to see if its clogged. otherwise, check spark plugs and plug wires. spark can kill power pretty good.
