Backup/reverse lights....any other possibilities other than that switch on the tranny

My NSS was stuck to the shaft so bad that I broke it, I know a lot of people do the same thing. But it took me about 1hr to get it off, prying at it, it's that kind of work I don't have much patience for, but I'm not gonna get mad and start hitting it with a hammer, because then I know I'll regret it later when more damage is caused.
