First of all, i'm kind of a noob to lifting and such and have one question about lifts/wheels/backspacing.

If i buy the RC 4.5" full pack kit and get 31s can i put those on stock rims? or will i need aftermarket rims?

 

its not the diameter of the tire that is the problem with backspacing... a 31 will fit all day it is the width of that tire that you want to put on there where you are going to run into rubbing problems with your inner wheelwell and what not... what size tire are you planning on going with 31x10.50, 31x12.50 if you are going with a tire less than 10 inches wide stock will work but anything over that i would recommend going with at least 4.5" of backspacing if not 3.75"

 

I lifted enough to run 31's a year ago and was asking the same question.

Plenty of guys run 31 10.50's on stock wheels and they fit, but will rub the lower control arms when you turn sharp. If you are ok with that, then I would go for it.

I initially wanted to run stock wheels, but later decided to go with less backspacing. My 31's are on 15x8's with 3.75 backspacing and I have zero rubbing issues. Plus, I kind of like the look of the tires sticking out a bit.
