I couldn't tell you for sure, but for 30 minutes and minimal cost, you can find out yourself. I see the poster before you did his successfully, you can ask him how he did it or where he got his info.

I had the no start no back up light thing happening for a while, had to jiggle the shifter in neutral to get it to start. Finally Googled it, found a write up, pulled it off, cleaned it up, slapped it back on in no time & BINGO, just like new.

Everyone keeps mentioning jumping. Is that what you mean by cleaning it and all.

Jumping it is when u unplug the plug under the hood and "jump 2 pins "B" and "C" which is what i tried but failed to help with the reverse lites issue. Im going to check the linkage. If that doesnt work ill try to take it off and clean it. I figured jumping it would have made them work but for me not so much

Yeah I'm going to try and clean mine tomorrow. Are there more write ups on how to clean it and put it back on right.

So cleaned mine and adjusted it to the right spot and now shifting like a dream. Still dies on Me from time to time but I think I know where my short is. Does anyone now a good way to locate a short?
