Default Back spacing help

Hey Guy and Gals!

I'm running into an issue with finding aftermarket rims for my 98 jeep Cherokee. I know the stock rims are 15x7" with a backspace of 5.25" and a bolt pattern of 5x4.5", and I can find every spec but the 5.25" backspacing the only one I have found that is even close in the Cragar rims is 4.5".
My question is will this backspacing work on a stock jeep Cherokee without rubbing? Or wheel spacers?

Backspacing is confusing for some folks. The smaller the number the farther it sticks OUT (away) from the wheel mounting surface (WMS).

So, if I run a 15x8 rim what back spacing should I run for a stock size tire?

Stock backspacing is 5" I believe.

And the 4 to 4.5" will tuck up and not rub?

Yes, Will they fit in the wheel well without rubbing, and I'll be running a factory size tire on them.

yes, stock is 5.25, and yes an 8 inch rim 4.5 will tuck up with a stock size tire and it won't rub.

you can also use a stock canyon rim or rubicon moab rim, they are 8 inch wide with 5.5 on the canyon and 5 on the moab. the moab tho is 16 inch.
