First post here so hopefully have the right discussion area, Have a 2000 cherokee 4.0 4wd with about 210k miles. I started out having a tick until it would warm up then it would mostly go away. One day on way home it changed tune and now its loud all the time and follows rpms. Sounds like it's in the back of oil pan. I've checked the flex plate and bolts a couple times and cant find anything. It seems to run fine and oil pressure is fine. I've tried all kinds of different oils and additives and nothing changes the tune. Any ideas are welcome
