2WD jeep. Transmission started leaking a few months ago. Slow leak so i am managing with adding transmission fluid every few days.
I am about to start some aftermarket upgrades and i am going to do a SYE from teraflex (links attached).
does it sound like this will fix it? my regular shop told me its not serious enough to replace as long as i baby it. its an $800 fix because parts have to be shipped in from like japan and a whole section of the tranny needs to be replaced. (i dont feel i am getting ripped off because my dad has known the guy 20 years and he does all repairs on my jeep that i cant manage)

along with this... they also offer an "Exetreme short shaft" Whats the use for that and how would i know if i needed it?
