Default B&M megashifter?AW4

Recently I made a trade with a friend of mine for his B&M megashifter.
Part number 80690
Now I am sort of regretting the trade. After looking it up B&M doesn't list it compatible with my AW4. How ever it does list it for a Chrysler 904. It seems like it will shift the same, but I am not sure. Any one out there using or heard of this. It sure will look nice next to that Novak T-Case shifter I plan on getting.

Well, a Chrysler 904 is a 3 speed automatic. Your AW4 is a 4 speed automatic. Probably isn't gonna work.

the shifter has 1 2 and drive locations. the stock shifter is 1-2 3 and drive. Both with Three shift possibilities. so I'm hoping and thinking it will.

Heck, give it a try. if it works, post pics. Megashifters are a great looking unit. I love to see one in an XJ.

not one thing. I just like the costume look that it would give my Jeep. I put a nice looking Grant wheel, I've ripped out the carpet, welded new floor boards in. I plan on painting the inside with durabak.

I'm thinking sand color. Seeing I'm on the beach more often then not. no center console from the factory either, so I'm not losing anything.

Those shifters do work with GM 700R4 trannies, which are a 3 speed with overdrive, just like yours, There is a different indicator panel and something else you change to make it work with a 4 speed, Cant remember right now, I know I sold mine out my Camaro, and my friend used it on a 700R4
