Default Axle Shaft toast? [VIDEO]

I am changing the wheel bearing on my XJ as one is noisey, but am wondering if the shaft is damaged beyond repair, or will it be ok to go back in?

I would recommend replacing it, that bearing wore into it pretty far.

Replace it, it's worn through the hardening and will only get worse.
