Default axle seal??? help!

I just changed the fluid in my front axle and serviced the drivers side ujoint/ hub. Being pissed off and in a hurry I over filled it by half a pint and now after driving it it is coming from the drivers side axle tube leaking out. Is it possible that its just because its over filled or did I damage the inner axle seal??? Any ideas

Hmmmmm how did you over fill it. You should fill it till it starts to come out the service hole. Easy way to check. Get your jeep up flex it a little so thy the side you think is leaking is angled down. If it leaks your see the **** on your tire. If so, gotta a seal to fix. They aren't that bad and they only cost like 20 bucks.

Clean your axel tubes when you service it.

What's the best way to clean the tubes? Do I have to remove the diff to do the seal?

Yep. Gunu have to take apart your gears And pull your shaft you have to press them in from inside the pumpkin and and use something long to press them in from opposite sides through the tubes to make sure they are straight. Push rags and break cleaner through your tubes. And break cleaner to clean your pumpkin out. Don't have to but might as well. After you do the seals. Close the diff and add your oil. Insert your shafts and be careful. Don't force them and turn them in to make sure you drive shaft is turning with them and your gears are lining up. It seams like a lot but it's really not hard. Get break cleaner and rtv and I'd suggest a gasket.
