Default axle help.

getting a 6 in. rough countrys lift, should i upgrade my axles or keep them stock? what should i upgrade to?

Do you have a dana35 or 8.25?What size are you looking at?What gears do you have?

i wanna run 33's, maybe 35's, i have the stock chrysler axles on there now

definitely gonna want to upgrade, at least the rear. urs is a 96 so its got the 27 spline chrysler 8.25. if you can find a 8.25 out of a 97-01 XJ the 29 spline axles should hold up to 33s much better than the 27 spline axle.

i'd say wait till you get your lift in and wheel it a bit. unless you want to go hardcore right away, you'll be fine for a bit with stock axles.

when you know where you want to go with your build, get better than stock axles under there. like say maybe 44/9"...

and don't waste money on your stock axles.
